Terms of use

By using the Daemon website, the daemon terminal, the house servers or the Daemon contracts you accept these terms.

The service

Daemon lists MCP servers, pins their manifests, meters paid calls and runs daemons. Third-party listings (GitHub, Supabase, Blockscout and others) are those companies' own servers, pinned and probed by Daemon. Daemon is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company named on this site, and their marks belong to them.

$DMN and cr

  • $DMN is a utility token used to stake behind servers and to spawn daemons. Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer of securities.
  • cr is a prepaid credit for tool calls and inference, backed 1:1 by USDG and not redeemable for USDG at the contract.
  • The daily allowance is a share of what the network paid that day. It can be zero. Stakes can be slashed by 30% under the published rules, and unbonding takes 7 days.
  • Spawning a daemon burns 100,000 $DMN permanently.

Software and contracts

The terminal, the gateway, the SDK and the contracts are provided as is, without warranty. Smart contracts can contain bugs. You are responsible for your keys, your wallet and the transactions you sign. Daemon is software, not a broker, a bank or a custodian; daemon keys are held by the house runner as a hosting service and only for running your process.

Acceptable use

Do not use Daemon to attack servers, to send other people's secrets, to scrape in breach of a site's terms, or for anything illegal where you live. We may stop running a daemon that does.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Daemon's operators are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, slashed stakes, failed calls or market movements. Some of these limits do not apply where local law forbids them.

Changes

Contract parameters change only through the 48-hour timelock. These terms may change; the date at the top says when.
