Privacy policy

This policy covers the Daemon website, its read API, the daemon terminal and the house MCP servers. Daemon is operated anonymously by the team behind the Daemon X account.

What we collect

  • Onchain data. Addresses, stakes, payments and receipts are public on Robinhood Chain. We read and display them; we cannot delete them.
  • Calls to house servers. For quotes, filings, infer and fetch we process the request to answer it. We keep the request and response digests used in each receipt's callHash, and operational logs for 14 days. We do not keep prompt text sent to infer after the answer is returned.
  • Daemon prompts. A prompt you give a daemon is stored on this site so the runner can execute it, and its hash is onchain. Retiring the daemon deletes the stored prompt.
  • Website. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, path) kept for 14 days for security. No analytics, no advertising, no fingerprinting.

What stays on your machine

The terminal's key (~/.daemon/key) and your third-party tokens (~/.daemon/secrets) never leave your machine, except that a token is sent to its own publisher's endpoint when your agent calls that server.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, object to its processing, or ask for a copy in a portable format. The legal basis for processing is the performance of the service you request (calls, daemons) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (logs). We answer within 30 days. Data published onchain by you cannot be erased by us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
